(1/2024) The 2021 Pinot Noir Faîte de Mer Farm Field Selections is a gorgeous, elegant wine that captures the essence of Jason Drew's style. Floral aromatics and bright blood orange notes are immediately alluring. Everything about the 2021 speaks to balance. Readers will find a vibrant, chiseled Pinot Noir endowed with notable energy. Light on its feet yet wonderfully persistent, the 2021 is a real beauty. A burst of red/blue fruits, spice, sage, mint and dried herbs linger. This is a fabulous Pinot from Drew. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2036.

(3/2024) Jason and Molly Drew planted their vineyard near Elk in 2011, including a mix of heritage and suitcase selections that produced the first Field Selections wine in 2014. As the vines have matured, Jason has separated out two other bottlings from the estate, including Radiolaria, also recommended here. Field Selections in 2021 is soft, peppery and gentle, delivering jammy strawberry richness without weight. An appealing young pinot noir for a vegetable and mushroom mixed grill. (125 cases).
