Vin Chicago: 90+ Points
(8/2026) This is a really tasty sparkler from the Valle de Bernal region of central Mexico, an appellation just over 2 1/2 hours north of Mexico City. A blend of 50 % Macabeu, 40% Xarel-lo and 10% Ugni Blanc it is made in the traditional method with secondary fermentation in bottle and 18-24 months of lees aging. Look for notes of ripe pear, meyer lemon, green apple and brioche. Dry, fresh and delicious.
