What We Think
Vin Chicago: 93 Points
(10/2026) Possibly an address to watch, Wisconsin-native Trace Brueske is teamed with second-generation vintner Derek Koehler and already making crackingly classic light-handed, whole-cluster influenced Santa Barbara Pinot that's alarmingly delicious. Gushing with yummy red fruit, it remains taut enough - just pretty, pure and energetic. We wish we could get more!
What Critics Think
Owen Bargreen : 93 Points
(1/30/2026) Sourced from the ‘Maria Vista Vineyard’ this 2024 Pinot Noir opens with tart red fruits and sandalwood tones alongside salty soil nuances on the nose. The palate is soft and juicy, brimming with vibrant red fruits alongside damp soil accents. This is already beautifully evolved stuff that is drinking great its heady youth. Buy this by the case! Drink 2026-2032.

(4/2/2026) A solid range of aromas show on the nose of this bottling, from pomegranate and raspberry to sandalwood, purple flowers and game. The palate is elegantly layered in similar red fruits with warmth added by mace and anise notes, finishing on a brisk cranberry tone.
