(9/2025) The 2022 Veneto Rosso Brentino is remarkably pretty, mixing crushed raspberries with sweet rose tones, clove and an inflection of white pepper. It's silky smooth, with a lovely inner sweetness and minty herbal tones lifting its ripe wild berry fruits. A subtle citrus tinge lingers through the long, structured yet beautifully balanced finish as a hint of licorice fades. Brentino is always a treat and an excellent value. (11/18/2024) A well-driven, focused and succulent red blend of merlot and cabernet sauvignon exhibiting aromas of dark cherries, dark plums and sweet spices. it’s full-bodied with fine tannins. Peppery and vivid with a silky texture, yet it shows character and drive on the palate. Textural finish with length. Drink or hold.
