What Critics Think
Vinous - Rebecca Gibb MW : 90 Points
(2/2026) The perfumed 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is all talc and florals with an appetizing note of fresh apple. The palate is uplifting and focused, with a bright apple-tinged acidity that lends momentum but in a gentle way. The close is almost salty. Drinking Window: 2026 - 2028.
James Suckling : 93 Points
(3/16/2025) Complex aromas of lemon peel, grapefruit pith, apple blossoms, pastry and lanolin. The palate is textural and creamy with a medium-bodied mouthfeel and bright acidity that carries lingering flavors of lime leaves, pomelo and sea salt. Made with 2% semillon. 7% barrel-fermented and 19% wild-fermented with eight months on the lees before bottling. Drink or hold.
Wine Advocate : 90 Points
(4/23/2026) The 2024 Sauvignon Blanc is grassy and mineral, with white kiwi fruit, green apple and lemon pith. The wine is tightly coiled and leafy. Mahi Wines is a member of the Appellation Marlborough Wine (AMW) group. 13.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink Date: 2026 - 2030.
