(12/2024) Bryan Coutelas is at the helm of this family, making wine as far back as 1675, and his Les Barils 2019 is an incredible value in vintage Champagne. Coming from a plot of just 60 ares (under 1.5 acres!), Les Barils is a blend of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir that spent 3 years on the lees with a dosage of 4 g/l. This is a bright, complex Champagne with notes of lemon zest, ginger, and a hint of toasty nuttiness.
