(2/2025) Jean Marc Barthez crafts this wine in the village of Monsegur, it's brought stateside by micro-negociant Mary Taylor. 30-year-old vines deliver 95% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Semillon, raised only in stainless steel to keep the wine vibrant. Such an imminently likable style of Sauvignon Blanc, this one has straightforward notes of green apple, lime zest, lemon, straw, light minerality, and a glimpse of peach. So fresh and so clean!
