(6/2025) The 2022 Disciples Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Petite Sirah, and 1% Merlot. Deep garnet-purple colored, it comes barreling out with exuberant notes of black cherry compote, warm cassis, and wild sage, leading to hints of candied violets and wet stones. Full-bodied, the palate has a firm backbone of grainy tannins and a lively line supporting the muscular black fruits, finishing on a mineral note.
