What Critics Think
Wine Advocate : 90 Points
(7/30/2021) The 2019 Post Scriptum de Chryseia is mostly a 56/33 blend of Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional, with Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca filling out the blend. The wine aged for 12 months in used French oak and comes in at 14.2% alcohol. Suave and refined, this elegant blend caresses the palate with silk and finishes with flavor. It is for those who appreciate a little freshness and understatement more than big fruitiness. It's bright and lively, with mostly ripe tannins on the finish. In its youth, this is lovely and a perfect food wine. The price is pretty nice as well. Drink Date: 2021 - 2031.

(11/1/2022) This is the second wine of Bordeaux winemaker Bruno Prats and the Symington family's Chryseia. It has a fine balance that has light tannins contrasting comfortably with black currant fruits. There is some aging potential in this wine, so drink from 2024.
