(1/25/2022) The 2019 Cairanne Le Ventabren is a Grenache-dominated blend that includes 20% Syrah and 10% Carignan, from a handful of terroirs, that was destemmed and brought up all in concrete. It’s a pretty, elegant, incredibly Provencal red offering notes of raspberries, strawberries, violets, and Provencal garrigue. Nicely textured and medium-bodied, with silky tannins and outstanding length, it’s well worth seeking out and will cruise of 4-6 years in cold cellars. Maturity: 2022 - 2028.
