(10/2016) Lively and still young, this fine, plummy Malbec is still very drinkable now. Plump with red and black fruit and some dark chocolate on the long and persistent finish. It is fermented with wild yeasts and spends seven months in cement, seeing no oak ageing.

(8/2015) The 2014 Terroir Único Malbec was described to me as a cherry and violet juice spiced up with cracked pepper. There was a cold maceration to extract those wild fruit aromas and then the fermentation was carried out with indigenous yeasts in cement vats at low-ish temperatures. The wine matured in cement vats before bottling, and never saw any wood. Juicy, silky and very drinkable with polished, sweet tannins and very good length, the palate reveals a purity, a sense of harmony and subtle balance that is amazing for a wine of this price. Unbelievable value!

(3/2016) Bright dark red with ruby highlights. Subdued but pure aromas of cherry, pepper and herbs. Juicy, brisk and firm, with racy acidity and underlying minerality giving definition and lift to the rather cool middle palate. Musky red berry and menthol flavors carry nicely on the firm finish. Light and lively Malbec, and a very good value.
