(7/2025) Cooked in one of the very few all-copper three-column continuous stills operating in the Caribbean, then aged in ex-Bourbon and Tennessee Whiskey barrels for over a decade, with contributions from barrels aged 25 years, the profile of this Rum is shockingly smooth, wonderfully familiar and just a little bit indulgent. Notes of butter toffee popcorn, singed orange peel, coconut crème brûlée, walnut, and baked pear spiced with nutmeg and cardamom are all here. Bottled at a standard 40% ABV, this bottling doesn't overwhelm when sipped neat: it excels. It also will help you make a killer Rum Old Fashioned. This is the by far the best Rum deal you'll come across in a VERY long time, as this product sells almost exclusively for $53 - 80 per bottle!
