Many distillers have fueled growth and profits by excluding age statements — Richard Seale has not. Aged exclusively in ex-Bourbon barrels, his complex local sourcing allows this 4th-generation Bajan native to support local sugar producers, his neighbors’ farms as well as his own estate sugarcane fields around St. Philip. Its evolved grandeur resonantes with vanilla, dried fruit and spice with notes of sautéed fruit, butterscotch and toasted coconut joining the party. At 46% ABV, this is ideal both as a sipper and the backbone for great aged rum cocktails - a Rum Old-Fashioned or a Palmetto come to mind!
