(10/2026) A dozen years ago, it would have brought us smiles to know that today's Vin Chicago customers request Menetou-Salon by name. This Sauvignon Blanc dedicated area of the Loire Valley abuts the western border of Sancerre, with monastic viculture dating to the 11th century. Your dollars go far here, its Kimmeridgian soils familiar to Anthony Girard, who also makes our most popular Sancerre at La Clef du Recit. It wears great intensity with ripe notes of tangerine, white peach, red apple, fresh grass, yellow bell pepper, tarragon and a bit of lemon zest. Good drive and length with well-integrated acidity that doesn't sting.
