(12/2022) Based in the Premier Cru village of Cumieres, vigneron Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy comes from a long line of Champagne growers. We've been buying the Geoffroy wines for 20 years and find them to be some of the most consistently delicious. Approximately 50% of Expression each year comes from a perpetual cuvée started by Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy's father, René in 1970 - that's cool! Blended from 35% Meunier, 35% Pinot noir and 30% Chardonnay, aged for nearly 4 years before corking, this bubbly was disgorged in April of 2021. Creamy, with light tones of brioche, apple butter, cured lemon and yellow flowers, this is a delicious sparkler to drink anytime, anywhere.
