(1/31/2024) The 2021 Sackcloth & Ashes is a blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Petit Verdot, 19% Cabernet Franc and 15% Merlot matured in 18% new French oak for 18 months. The nose opens with redcurrants and cherries accented by tones of pie spice, dried herbs, potpourri and underbrush. The medium-bodied palate is smooth and juicy with generous, spicy fruit and a long, spicy finish. This is dangerously easy to drink! 518 cases were made. Drink 2024 - 2034.
