Vin Chicago: 91 Points

(6/2026) This is a very impressive Cabernet for under $20 from winemaker Kirk Venge. A blend of fruit sourced from both Napa and Sonoma vineyards, this is plush, full-bodied and delicious. Aged in French oak (33% new) for 18 months, there is great texture and balance with classic Cab blackcurrant and black cherry flavors. A slight earthiness and savoury spice quality complement the fruit, and the supple tannins give structure and back bone. Outstanding!
