(10/2025) Jay Somers has proven his skill with a range of white grapes including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and, like-it-or-not Jay, Pinot Gris. Add another arrow to his quiver, cause this Pinot Blanc is awesome! A custom 119 case single-vineyard bottling crafted solely for his Chicago distributor, the grapes come from one of the newer sub-AVAs of the Willamette Valley. Aromatically generous and suggestively leesy, it delivers notes of pear, white peach, honeydew, chamomile and green apple kissed by a squeeze of lemon. Nicely balanced between an inner creaminess with a crisp finish. A nicely done, boutique wine at a daily price!
