(6/2024) Without much barrel aging, this vibrant Cab crafted by Andrew Jones is oriented entirely around a central core of juicy fruit. Wild blueberry, black currant and unpitted wild cherry flavors are very vivid, with a subtle underscoring of cedar and spice across the finish. Not complicated, just a tasty anytime Cab that’s killer with burgers or flank steak tacos. Easy-to-open with its screwcap, we did notice a dramatic integration and mellowing when the wine saw some air - and we recommend you do likewise.
