(2/2025) Arnaud Lambert's wines are astonishingly valued in the Loire Valley - whether white or red - and produced by certified organic vineyards. This is from 45-year-old vines on Saumur-Champigny's most southerly hill facing Brézé. This throwback vintage delivers a quintessential profile of Cabernet Franc, with pops of green against a sour cherry backdrop, dripping in violets with crushed limestone, dried wild strawberries, and a hint of white pepper. It is refreshing, with a lively texture and serious length for this level. Yum!
