Baardseth "Single Cru" Petite Champagne XO Cognac

This Cognac imported by the Willett family of Bardstown of all folks, who also champion great value spirits outside Kentucky. It presents excellent value for the XO category, which is typically north of $100. These "extra old" bottlings must come from stocks of at least 10 years of age, with some contents reaching 20 years old. This one from the cru of Petit Champagne, with its chalky soils over limestone and sandstone bedrock enhancing the finesse of the subregion.
