(3/2025) The great Benji Leroux bottles sought-after white and red Burgundies, and he also crafts one of the best Aligotés in the entire region. This bone-dry white offers intense minerality, taut, juicy citrus, green apple, gunsmoke, and freshly opened orchard blossoms, all atop a fleshy, long, complex, and incredibly alive structure. It's fun to drink immediately and more attractive after a rigorous decanting (a good 4-5 hours), showing zero fatigue. Electric is a good word to describe this beauty.
