(11/2025) The Gonnet family has a long history in Champagne, dating back to the 15th Century! Based in the Grand Cru village of Mesnil sur Oger, this impressive grower farms 40 hectares, focusing on organic practices. This tasty dry white bubbly is a blend of their estate vineyards in and around Mesnil and is built from 100% Chardonnay. A wonderful creamy texture is what we tuned into, quickly focusing on the taut citrus and orchard fruits, soft and forward, with a classic spine of chalky minerals. The wine was finished with just 2 g/l, though it feels more generous, and was disgorged 1/2023. A lovely addition to our grower bubbly collection, and perfect for your next favorite sushi dinner!
