Vin Chicago: 94 Points
(11/2025) Didier Gimonnet bottles some of Champagne's greatest Chardonnays. The wines have always been good, and this latest batch of his flagship cuvées is one of the best he's bottled in quite some time. Tension and chalky minerality are here, but the wine is incredibly generous and rich, with a tasty combination of yellow plum, fresh citrus, white flowers, salinity and mineral sizzle. Finished with 5 g/l, this 100% Chardonnay was disgorged in February of 2025, based on 2022 vintage, with older stocks dating back to 2010. Excellent!
