For its eight release, this limited-production top-notch blend from MGP's Ross & Squibb, Remus Repeal Reserve brings the return of non-chill filtration and a higher rye content (29% of overall mashbill) in this Bourbon. 91% from ten-year-old barrels and the remaning 9% from 17-year-old bourbon. Plenty of backbone and indulgence commence in this balanced and properly aged bottling with suggested notes of cherry, candied pecans, hints of leather, maple syrup, fig, vanilla, oak and baking spice.
