(3/2022) The 2017 Boca is an attractive, easy going wine. The presence of 20% Vespolina and 15% Uva Rara adds a very pretty savory dimension to a core of Nebbiolo fruit. Sweet tobacco, cedar, dried herbs, mint and earthy notes develop with a bit of aeration. The 2017 is not terribly complex or structured, but it offers very fine drinking today. It is a perfect restaurant wine in that sense. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2030.
