The full-bodied palate balances concentrated flavors and ripe, grainy tannins with refreshing acidity, and it has a long, perfumed finish. 226 cases were made. Drink Date: 2025 - 2040.

(7/2023) The Cabernet Sauvignon Star Lane Vineyard is another compelling old-school wine from Ryan Deovlet. Picking on the early side preserves notable freshness and verve. Grilled herbs, new leather, licorice, bay leaf, rose petal, menthol and dried autumn leaves add layers of nuance to a core of dark red/purplish fruit. It's a Cabernet for readers who enjoy classically austere wines, in the best sense of that term. Drinking Window: 2025 - 2035.
