(1/2026) The 2024 Dolcetto d'Alba is a super-classic wine. Blue/purplish fruit, lavender, game, mint and licorice give the 2024 a decidedly old-school profile to match its light to medium-bodied frame. This understated Dolcetto is a delight. In 2024, Vajra did not bottle their top Dolcetto, Coste & Fossati, as some parcels were damaged by hail. Drinking Window: 2028 - 2030.

(11/1/2025) Pop rocks meet purple plums in this electric Dolcetto that refuses to sit still. Violets and damson fruits burst from the glass with teenage energy, while the palate crackles with fresh blackberries and bright acidity. It's the kind of wine that makes you wish all serious things could be this much fun.

(4/8/2026) A medium magenta/ruby color, the 2024 Dolcetto D'Alba is elegant and lifted with notes of grenadine, fresh flowers, bright spice, and wet stone. Medium-bodied, it moves lightly across the palate with refined tannins and a clean finish. Drink 2026-2032.
