(1/2026) The 2023 Langhe Freisa Kyè is going to need a few years to come into its own. Blue/purplish fruit, gravel, incense, licorice, game and dried flowers give this bold Freisa quite a bit of character. The 2023 is a bit burly, but it is also very expressive of variety. In most years, Vajra tames the rustic side of Freisa, but here variety wins. Drinking Window: 2026 - 2031.

(4/8/2026) The 2023 Langhe Freisa Kyè offers hints of resinous wild herbs alongside boysenberry and fresh herbal notes. Medium to full-bodied, it carries the variety’s characteristic rustic grip yet remains well-managed and balanced. Drink 2026-2030.
