(12/29/2023) The 2023 Limestone Hill Chardonnay is expressive and energetic in the glass, beginning with squeaky clean citrus and lemon aromas. Medium-bodied with a compact frame, the palate offers a fresh and vibrant facility that sways with flavors of yellow apple and Meyer lemon before concluding with a zesty, citrus-laced finish. Slightly under a quarter million bottles were produced. Drink Date: 2023 - 2030.

(10/22/2023) Fresh and juicy chardonnay with peaches, apricots and lemon curd on the nose. Medium to full body, creamy and balanced. Drink now. Screw cap.

(8/2023) The 2023 Chardonnay Limestone Hill undergoes between 80 and 120 days on the fine lees with weekly stirring. The aromatics offer squeezed lime and red apple scents that unfold nicely in the glass. The palate is fresh on the entry with nectarine and peach skin notes, a slightly oily texture, and a finish that I would swear was Viognier (it is definitely 100% Chardonnay). Good length, this is a fine and thoroughly enjoyable. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2030.
