(3/2022) The 2020 Muller-Thurgau Palai is perfumed yet rich with baked apples and crushed raw almonds offset by citrus rinds and hints of smoke. This is focused on purity of fruit and minerality on the palate, coming across as softly textured but also lifted and finessed. The Palai leaves the mouth watering for more with nuances of chamomile and young peach that linger. I love the journey that the 2020 provides from nose to finish. Nicely done. Drinking Window: 2022 - 2025.
