(12/2023) The 2021 Schioppettino-RiNera bursts from the glass with a pepper-mill bouquet blending wild berries and roses with hits of lavender. Wildly fresh and spicy, this possesses wiry textures and nervous acidity that perfectly match the crunchy black raspberry fruit within. The 2021 keeps the energy high, with a potent staining of salted licorice and cheek puckering tension. This is so likable and goes down far too easily, but at 12% abv, that's no issue. Drinking Window: 2024 - 2028.
