(2/2023) Mint and smoke nuances complement a burst of blackberry and raspberry jams, forming an extroverted bouquet as the 2020 Rosso Obvius opens in the glass. It's round and perfumed within, focused on fruit, with masses of wildberries and sweet spices saturating the palate. The 2020 finishes with tension as residual acids slowly fizzle out, and violet inner florals fade. The Rosso Obvius is a wickedly fresh Sangiovese made without the use of sulfur. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2025.
