(9/2023) Amazingly alluring, mature, natural Gruner raised in a single 1850-liter cask for nine years(!) before being bottled. The complexity is insane with green tones, pine, white pepper and bruised pear, layered with hints of natty flavor (slight apple cider) and focused minerality. This super delicious, perfectly aged white shows a touch of phenolic grip and is reminiscent of the great Nikolaihof wines but at substantially lower pricing!
