(12/8/2022) Vinified in a one-year-old 50-hectoliter Stockinger vat, the 2020 Ried Spiegel 1OTW Gruner Veltliner offers a clear and elegant bouquet of ripe white fruits. Rich and intense on the palate, this is a round and slightly sweet, structured and sustainable wine with substance and body. Very intense and firmly structured. 13% stated alcohol. Screw-cap closure. Tasted at the domaine in September 2022. Drink Date: 2025 - 2040.

(11/17/2022) On the palate, this remarkable 2020 gruner veltliner is very precisely contoured, the fine tannins etching a picture as subtle as a 17th century Dutch print. Ripe, yet almost weightless, it would be fascinating to study this over many hours. From biodynamically grown grapes with Respekt certification. Drink or hold. Screw cap.
