(12/2022) The 2019 Pinot Noir Unforgettable shows a lovely red berry fruit character to match its understated, mid-weight personality. Soft, silky tannins wrap it all together. This firms up a touch with air as the acids begin to emerge. The brightness is quite attractive. I would open this an hour or two in advance to allow all the elements to be fully expressive. Drinking Window: 2023 - 2031.

(3/1/2022) Intricate, delicate aromas ranging from wild berries to forest floor and black tea are backed up beautifully by vivid black-cherry, sour cherry and sweet plum flavors in this exciting, complex and concentrated wine. A medium-to-full body and mild tannins provide great balance to the panoply of flavors.

(7/14/2022) Matured for 16 months in 25% new French oak, the 2019 Pinot Noir Unforgettable has deep scents of red and black cherries, blood orange, forest floor, mushrooms and conifer. The medium-bodied palate is pleasantly broody with seamless acidity and a spicy, earth-laced finish. 302 cases were made. Drink Date: 2022 - 2032.

(8/2/2022) The 2019 Pinot Noir Unforgettable Estate Vineyard was raised in 25% new French oak and has aromas of fresh red plum, vanilla bean, and crushed red flowers. There is another gear on the palate, with up-front primary fruit of juicy raspberry that is cleaned away with fresh cranberry and mouthwatering acidity. This is another open and charming wine now, but it will be wonderful over the next 8-10 years. Maturity: 2022 - 2032.
