(2/2023) I’m often frustrated by how pineau d’aunis shows in our panels--thin, candied or simple. So I was thrilled to taste this, a pineau I can recommend without reservation, its pink-peppercorn-spiced, curranty fruit showing enough weight to feel complete, with chewy grip at the end of a long finish. A wine to make converts of doubters.
