What Critics Think
Wine & Spirits : 93 Points
(4/2023) Grown a mile from the Pacific Ocean, near Avila Beach, this wine is barrel-fermented using indigenous yeasts and bottled just before the fermentation’s complete, providing its natural effervescence. In the glass, it offers a pleasing pink haze, slightly cloudy, with scents of pink flowers, rhubarb and watermelon. Tangy and chewy at once, the mineral savor belies a kombucha-like grip of strawberry flavor, both mouthfilling and refreshing. —P.J.C. (380 cases)

(7/1/2023) Engaging aromas of strawberry cream and sorbet with light dough and chalk make for a very approachable nose on this bottling. The mousse is mouth-filling and persistent, offering pleasantly mellow flavors of watermelon and more berry cream.
