(4/18/2024) Aromatically showy out of the gate, the 2021 Zinfandel Zayante Vineyard shows off saccharine aromas of blueberry compote, hibiscus and preserved peach. Lusciously juicy and spongelike, the palate combines berry-forward flavors with welcomely high levels of acidity that leave the finish quenching and pleasant. It's ready for early consumption but has the posture to evolve for a few years in the cellar. Sourced from own-rooted vines planted in 1988. Drink Date: 2024 - 2030.

(7/1/2024) Candied strawberry aromas are cut by spearmint and blood-orange peel on the nose of this wine. The palate is laced in clove and cardamom cream flavors that float through the strawberry and cherry-mint core.
