(9/2023) To us, Master of None drinks like that one light, crushable Willamette Pinot that you can’t put down. Bright notes of red cherry, cranberry and raspberry are paired with baking spices and raw earthy notes to give this wine life. Pure, crystalline and juicy, it has everything you want out of a new world Pinot. There is just the right amount of juicy acidity here to keep up with any dinner. Somehow, the blend got even crazier this year - Grenache, Cinsault, Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc, Fernao Pirez, Chardonnay, Palomino and Verdelho. Yep, eight varietals. And it works so well. Over the years, we started referring to Master of None as a “Swiss Army Knife” wine, and it still holds true. It’s a wine that can fit so well with so many situations.
What Critics Think

(9/2023) Master of None is a self-deprecating reference to the size of the BLANKbottle range. One of Pieter Walser's biggest production reds, this is a crazy cuvee of mostly Grenache and Cinsault with 47% Pinot Noir, Chenin Blanc, Fernao Pires and Chardonnay. Flirting with being a rose, it's floral and seductive, dovetailing rose petal aromas with a palate of goji berry and wild strawberry. Drink chilled. 2023-28.
