(3/2024) Guillaume Gonnet's wines explore the various sites of the Southern Rhone and attempt to display the unique terroir by implementing consistent winemaking techniques and similar blends in all of their bottlings. Cairanne is a relatively new appellation, having been given Cru status in 2016, elevating itself from simply being a Cotes du Rhone Village. Here, you will find darker flavors of black cherry and dried brambly fruit with smoky, savory elements and licorice.
