What Critics Think
James Suckling : 95 Points
(5/14/2023) A very fine and polished 2020 with tar, blackberry, stone and wet earth aromas and flavors. Full and reserved with beautiful tannins and a long, long finish. Classy. Extremely well done. From biodynamically grown grapes. Demeter certification. Try in 2027.
Decanter : 90 Points
(4/30/2021) This has attractive juice and touches of austere sappy tannins, feels bristling and well handled, with blood orange notes on the attack. Concentrated fruits as it builds up power, this doesn't quite have the seductive glamour that you often find in Pessac-Leognan but is structured and enjoyable. Organic certified. A yield of 18hl/ha. 16 month ageing in 300L barrels and 3,000L wooden tun. Demeter certified. 6% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec complete the blend.
