(1/2025) The island of Corsica is home to some of the most distinctive, most mineral, and most thrilling wines anywhere in the world, and Maestracci, imported by Kermit Lynch, is one of the best growers on the island. Clos Reginu is a single vineyard red blend of 35% Niellucciu, 30% Grenache, 15% Sciaccarellu, 15% Syrah, and 5% Mourvèdre - all Certified Biodynamically farmed from younger vines. This juicy and gritty red, raised in tank, features taut red berry fruits, rocky minerals, and a drinkable-now structure of medium+ acidity and gusty tannins. Delicious at the table, this wine gets better after being opened for a day or two!
