What We Think
Vin Chicago: 90+ Points
(2/2026) Not oft seen on its lonesome, this organically-farmed Loire Valley Sauvignon GRIS (Fié) is a broadly-appealing winner! From a 15-hectare estate near Mosnes, 15-year-old vines are footed in stony cliffside clay-sand soils - and old local variety, it originated as a mutation of its blanc brother. Less "sauvage" than its sibling, it presents balanced notes of honeyed florals, pear, river stones, taragon, almond skin and mango essence. Well-integrated acidity and plenty of pleasant bitterness keep things fresh and invigorating.
