What Critics Think
Vinous - Josh Raynolds : 90 Points
(8/2019) Brilliant violet. Lively aromas of fresh, spice-tinged dark berries and candied violet take on a suggestion of olive as the wine opens up. Clean and energetic in style, offering juicy black raspberry and bitter cherry flavors that deepen and spread out on the back half. Finishes sweet, gently tannic and long, leaving a floral note behind. Drinking window: 2021 - 2027.

(12/28/2018) Thirty percent of the entry-level 2017 Crozes Hermitage Mis en Bouche spent time in wood, but the emphasis here is on the fruit—and immediate accessibility. Brambly notes accent fresh cherries in this silky-textured, medium-bodied Syrah. It's a great quaffing wine, just so easy to drink, with delicate tannins and a bright finish.
