(5/2024) Imported by Kermit Lynch, Maxime Magnon is a bit of a hipster hero, crafting delicious, serious, energized wines in Corbieres. His Rozeta is a blend of 50-60+-year-old Carignan (40%), Grenache (30%), and Cinsault (30%) that was co-fermented and then raised in barrels previously used by a producer in Chassagne-Montrachet. This blend is particularly unique, as the Carignan vineyards are interspersed with older vines of other varietals, including Grenache Gris, Macabou, and Terret, all of which are picked together and included in this old-school field blend.
