What We Think
Vin Chicago: 91+ Points
Only five barrels were produced of this fantastic "chillable" red from winemaker Chris Miller. Made from Trousseau grown on 25 year old vines in California's Cienega Valley, this wine is such a crushable 12.4% ABV that you might mistake it for a dark Rosé. We recommend serving it with a slight chill, which showcases its enticing cranberry, raspberry, pomegranate and orange peel flavors. Normally selling for around $30, this stuff rocks, and it will pair wondrously with a wide spread of fare, from charcuterie, to roasted chicken or turkey, and even pulled pork. Major yum alert!
