(2/2026) Palizzi in Calabria is about as far south as one can travel on Italy's mainland. In fact, the vines at Azienda Nesci are planted in sand and overlook the sea! This blend, called 'Meet,' joins together 55% Nocera (similar to Nerello Mascalese) with 45% Calabrese (aka Nero d'Avola). This round, soft and juicy wine showcases dark and dried fruit with complex notes of caramelized orange peel, licorice, cured meat and exotic spices. An off the beaten path, unique, yet delicious bottling that delivers a lot of pleasure at a great price!
