(5/2025) Seriously impressive showing for La Louvière in this all-time-classic vintage. Still a baby, this wine slumbered at home in Bordeaux until arriving Fall 2025 in Chicago. It's packed with commendable tension and structure.

(1/20/2019) There's a distinctive, leafy and slightly sappy edge to this Pessac that opens to flowers and wild red berries. The palate has a long, taut and fresh feel. This is wound tight for now and needs time. A blend of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. Try from 2023.
