(5/30/2022) A pretty complex, cool and subtle albarino with lime, nectarine, stone, green mango, oyster shell and a hint of pistachio. Quite zesty and substantial in the full-bodied palate, chiseled with bright and taut acidity. Engagingly fresh and mineral with a good grip of limey fruit in the finish. Drink now.

(6/13/2022) The 2019 La Cana Navia is more racy and vibrant, with bright citrus, chalky mineral, and just hints of honeyed herb-like nuances. Medium-bodied, nicely concentrated, and downright racy, I like the balance in the 2018 better, but this will come together with a year in bottle and, as with prior vintages, keep for at least a decade. Maturity: 2022 - 2032.
